Using the site

The Falls District home page provides a quick glimpse at what's happening in the whole district, including a district-wide calendar of events, timely information for leaders of all units, and so forth.

The main menu at the top allows you to drill down into specific information that affects your unit type: Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing.

You will notice that each unit type has its own specific colour, immediately visible as a change in the menu background colour. This is a valuable mnemonic that will help you remember which unit type you're viewing as well as a cue for each time you visit our site.

To return to the Falls District home page, you may click the "Falls District" text in the header from anywhere in the site.

Keeping up-to-date

Now you can get news that affects your unit right on your desktop! Using RSS technology, you may connect to our RSS news feed using your favourite news aggregator and view the changes without opening your browser.

If you do not already have a news aggregator, grab one of blogspace's top picks, then simply open our news feed!

Searching

You may search through content on Falls District by entering the keywords of interest into the field at the top of page and then clicking "Search." For quick keyboard access, presss Alt+S to jump directly to the search field, type your keywords, then press Enter.

Once submitted, your search goes to google for processing, the results of which will come back from google. You may then follow any of the results google returns to content within Falls District.
