Canoe Safety and Handling Course

Occonneechee Council is sponsoring a Canoe Safety and Handling Course.
This is an opportunity for Boy Scout Adults of Troops, Crews and Ships who wish to lead u=youth on canoeing kayaking and rafting trips on lakes rivers and whitewater. Good physical condition and ability to pass BSA Swimmer Test is required. No prior knowledge of canoeing is required, but may be helpful.
Part 1. April 16-17, 2010 at Lake Crabtree near RDU
Part 2. April 30 to May 2, 2010 on the Cape Fear or Haw River.
